ACTIVITIES:
The statistical
approach for the development of equations predicting the nutritive value
of feeds and feedstuffs is matter of discussion.
The data set of chemical
composition and nutritive value stored in the SABA will be used for the
calculation of predictive equations.
Harmonisation of chemical
analyses and the selection of other chemical variables to be included in
the predictive equations are performed in this sub-task. Two collaborative
studies for harmonising chemical analyses are in progress. An internal
document (Haproch) with the guidelines for chemical analyses was prepared.
